How the test works

This is an online mock test. You can choose a suitable time and place, and set aside a full, uninterrupted block of time.

Device and audio

Before you start, check that your network is stable, your device is charged and your browser is working normally.
Follow the on-screen prompts to load the test and run the audio check. Headphones or a headset are recommended; set the volume in advance.

Starting and answering

Before you start, check the test level, test name and other details, then enter the test.
While answering, keep an eye on the current part, the time left and the on-screen prompts.

Interruption and recovery

If the network drops, the page reloads or the device fails, you can re-enter the test and your saved answers and remaining time will be restored.
If the test, audio or your progress does not come back correctly, report it through the feedback entry on the page.

Timing and submission

When time runs out, the test is submitted automatically and you can no longer answer.
Before submitting yourself, check for questions you may have missed. Once submitted, this attempt can no longer be changed.
If something goes wrong while submitting, keep the page open and retry as prompted.

Try these steps:

Check volume settingsMake sure your computer is not muted, and turn up the system, browser and headphone volume.
Check device connectionCheck that your headphones or speakers are plugged in correctly. If you use Bluetooth headphones, make sure they are paired.
Check browser permissionsCheck the audio output device on your computer and make sure the headphones or speakers you are using are selected.
Refresh or restartUnplug and reconnect your headphones, or re-pair Bluetooth, then refresh the page and play the sample again.
Close other appsClose other apps that may be using the audio device. If there is still no sound, switch browser or device and enter the test again.
